The USP Talks serie of events is born in 2016, from the desire to connect University and society

The event, organized by the Provost Office of Research of USP in partnership with Estadão, is composed of a series of short lectures given by specialists that address about current issues of interest to society.

The presentations last about 15 minutes, with the use of a simple language, free of academic formalities. Each meeting counts with the presence of two experts and a final round is reserved for questions and interventions of the viewers.

The event takes place every month - between March and November - every last Wednesday of the month, at the Teatro Cásper Líbero, located on Paulista Avenue. The lectures are broadcast on Facebook Live and later remains available on the USP Talks YouTube channel.
